brown women’s wrestling hires head coach
Brown University Women’s Wrestling Club Appoints Nick Lattanze as Head Coach
The Brown Women’s Wrestling Club is excited to announce the appointment of Nick Lattanze as its new Head Coach. This move comes at a time when women’s wrestling is experiencing unprecedented growth across the United States. Despite this progress, opportunities for female wrestlers to compete at elite academic institutes remain limited.
“Our goal is to meet the growing demand for women’s wrestling by providing opportunities at the highest level, particularly within Ivy League institutions,” Lattanze says. “We are committed to ensuring that women athletes at all levels have the chance to pursue both their academic and athletic dreams here at Brown.”
Lattanze brings a wealth of experience to the role, including a robust freestyle wrestling background that is set to enhance the technical development of the team.
“We want to support wrestlers at every level, from beginners to advanced competitors,” Lattanze says. “We are committed to creating an inclusive community where everyone, regardless of their skill level, feels welcome and supported.”
The Brown Women’s Wrestling Club is dedicated to building a vibrant and supportive environment for female wrestlers. This includes providing opportunities for both novice and experienced athletes to develop their skills and achieve their personal bests. The program aims to ensure that every member of the community can thrive, regardless of their starting point.
Lattanze’s appointment marks a new chapter for the Brown Women’s Wrestling Club. With the new head coach in place, the club is poised to enhance its fundraising efforts, expand competitive opportunities, and strengthen its community engagement.
